My research focuses on social-ecological interactions of cultural landscape change and planning, attending particularly to the role of the local residents' participation and perceptions of environment. The main objective of my research is to promote sustainability in cultural landscape management (in specific cases) through a deeper understanding of the interrelationships between social system, ecosystem services and landscape change.
