  • Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture and Planning (supervised by Prof. Tobias Plieninger, Prof. Jorgen Primdahl, and Prof. Henrik Vejre)

  • Graduated from University of Copenhagen, Denmark

  • Research fields: cultural landscape, cultural routes and heritage corridors, greenway and green infrastructure, public participation for landscape planning and management, public perceptions and landscape democracy, regional sustainable development.

  • Referee for Land, Landscape research, Sustainability, Forests, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Science.

  • Guest editor for Landscape Architecture Frontiers

  • My research focuses on social-ecological interactions of cultural landscape change and planning, attending particularly to the role of the local residents' participation and perceptions of environment. The main objective of my research is to promote sustainability in cultural landscape management (in specific cases) through a deeper understanding of the interrelationships between social system, ecosystem services and landscape change.
