On March 12, the list of China Award for Science and Technology in Construction for 2023 was announced. Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) won a total of four prizes as the first contributor, including one first prize and three second prizes. In addition, BUCEA won one first prize as a participant. BUCEA ranks second among universities in the country in terms of the number of awarded prizes as the first contributor.

China Award for Science and Technology in Construction is the top-level science and technology award in the national construction industry established by non-governmental sectors. 200 projects were offered the award in 2023, including one grand prize, 29 first prizes, 60 second prizes and 110 third prizes.
