The Camp for Studying Visual Design of World Cultural Heritage Successfully Concluded

On February 25, 2021, the Camp for Studying Visual Design of World Cultural Heritage undertaken by BUCEA's Culture Development Research Institute under the leadership of Beijing Research Institute for Great Wall Culture, came to a successful conclusion. Online participants in the camp included more than 260 teachers and students from 30 foreign and domestic universities, including the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Normal University, China Academy of Art, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and the University of the Arts London, as well as several independent designers. During the event, more than 100 design plans were received from 68 university teachers and students and independent designers.

Six experts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Union University, and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture reviewed those design plans in an anonymous manner. Finally, 32 design works from 32 university teachers and students won the outstanding work awards, including FAN Jing from the Southwest Minzu University, ZENG Dehui from Beijing Union University, FENG Qiyue from Shandong University, YAN Donghui and ZHANG Zuqun from Beijing Institute of Technology, ZHANG Dongping from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, CUI Shuyu from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, ZHOU Ling, YANG Zhuosong, and WANG Zhitao from Hubei Engineering University, FANG Jiyuan from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, XUE Yuang from Central University of Finance and Economics, LIU Yunlei from Shandong University of Art & Design, and GAO Zehui and MORONG Fengyan from the University of the Arts London.

Subsequently, Beijing Research Institute for Great Wall Culture and BUCEA's Culture Development Research Institute will recommend all the works to the Office of Leading Group for Construction of National Cultural Park.
