On the morning of June 25th, the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) and Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) was successfully held on the Xicheng Campus. ZHANG Dayu, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of BUCEA, LI Junqi, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of BUCEA, BSEU Rector Alexey Egorov, and BSEU Vice-rector Olga Morozevich, together with staff from relevant schools and departments of two universities participated in the ceremony which was presided over by LI Junqi.
ZHANG Dayu extended a warm welcome to President Alexey Egorov and his delegation for their visit to BUCEA, hoping that the two universities would take this opportunity to promote robust cooperation, access respective advantages, and jointly serve national and regional development priorities such as the preservation and renewal of Beijing’s ancient areas and the development of China-Belarus Industrial Park, thus continuing to deepen the all-round, multi-field and in-depth cooperation.
Alexey Egorov said that BSEU cherished the opportunity of cooperation with BUCEA and hoped to combine with BUCEA’s engineering specialties in order to solidly promote high-quality development of the two universities.
After the meeting, Alexey Egorov and his delegation visited educational and experimental facilities on the Xicheng Campus.
In February this year, BUCEA entered an intentional cooperation agreement with BSEU.
