Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) was invited to participate in the education services exhibition at the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) from September 2 to 6. BUCEA focused on displaying in four sections the achievements of international exchanges and cooperation, international talent cultivation and international scientific and technological innovation cooperation.

International student representatives said in an interview with CCTV during the exhibition that by visiting CIFTIS, they had a deep understanding of the cutting-edge technologies in the industry and broadened their professional horizons. At the moment when various policies of “study abroad in Beijing” were released, they felt very lucky to be exposed to internationalized education at BUCEA and witness the international development of China as well as the University.

Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, CIFTIS is the first international comprehensive service trade fair at the national level in the world and an important window for the opening up of China’s service sector. The 2023 CIFTIS took place in Beijing from September 2 to 6 under the theme of “Opening Up Leads Development, Cooperation Delivers the Future” and featured 9 thematic exhibitions, including finance, culture and tourism, education, and sports.

The education services exhibition is an important part of the 2023 CIFTIS. Led by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, BUCEA, a leading high-level municipal university in Beijing, has been invited to participate in related activities of CIFTIS education services since 2020.
