On June 20, 2023, the Large Multi-Functional Shaking Table Matrix Laboratory of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture successfully hosted an academic seminar at the Lecture Hall of School Building E on Daxing Campus, with online and in-person attendance. LI Aiqun, Executive Director of the Leading Group for the Construction of BUCEA’s Large Multi-Functional Shaking Table Matrix Laboratory, and JI Jie, Dean of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering, attended the seminar offline. Prof. LU Xinzheng and Prof. LU Dechun chaired the seminar.

On behalf of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Dean JI Jie extended her welcome and gratitude to the participating experts and scholars.

In the session of thematic presentations, 10 recipients of BUCEA’s Phase-I Open Research Fund gave project completion reports, and 12 recipients of the Phase-Ⅱ Fund gave mid-term examination reports and had discussions with experts.

XIE Linlin, Deputy Director of the Large Multi-Functional Shaking Table Matrix Laboratory, introduced the application and completion requirements of the Open Research Fund 2023. Prof. LI Aiqun made a summary of the seminar and proposed future prospects.
