On September 3, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission held a news briefing for the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) education services featured exhibition. WEI Xubin, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, attended the meeting. BUCEA was the only invited university from Beijing.
WEI Xubin pointed out that compared to previous years, this year’s education services featured exhibition highlighted a more international participation, with participants from five continents and exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Belarus.
YANG Jianwei, BUCEA Vice President, attended the event on behalf of BUCEA. He highlighted how BUCEA has been building its international cooperation network with creative thinking, continuously deepening its global partnerships and actively aligning with and contributing to China’s national strategies. At the education services featured exhibition, BUCEA will showcase its high-level international research collaborations, with a special focus on the achievements of the Belt and Road Community of Architectural Education, as well as its proactive engagement in the China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Beijing Municipal Government CIFTIS is the world’s largest comprehensive exhibition in the field of trade in services.
The 2024 CIFTIS will take place from September 12 to 16 at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park with the theme “Global Services, Shared Prosperity”.
Since the inception of CIFTIS in 2012, BUCEA has actively participated in the event. From 2020 onwards, it has participated in the education services featured exhibition and related exchange activities for 5 consecutive years.
