BUCEA held inspiring ceremony to honor outstanding youth

Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) held a dedicated event on May 7th to honor outstanding youth on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. The ceremony included a review of the work of BUCEA Committee of the Communist Youth League and recognition of exceptional individuals and groups. Notable attendees included ZHENG Yu, Secretary of the CPC Committee, BUCEA and YU Linmin, Deputy Director of the Employment Task Force, Beijing Communist Youth League Committee, along with over 500 other guests.

During the event, Secretary ZHENG Yu praised the remarkable achievements of BUCEA Committee of the Communist Youth League.

ZHU Jing, Member of the CPC Standing Committee of BUCEA and Vice President of the University, announced the list of awardees for this year, which included 106 outstanding groups and 815 exceptional individuals.

The event also featured inspiring speeches from LI Ziwei, a graduate student from the School of Urban Economics and Management, LAN Yuncheng, doctoral student from the School of Environment and Energy Engineering, ZHANG Zimeng, student representative from the School of Urban Economics and Management, and GUO Jinyang, who serves as the secretary of Class 203 Youth League branch of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering.

Young alumni were invited for on-site interviews.

The ceremony ended on a high note with faculty, staff and students singing the University Anthem.
