Prof. WANG Yanxue recognized as 2021 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers

Elsevier, a global business for information and analytics, released its 2021 List of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers on April 14. The List has recognized 4,701 Chinese scholars from 523 organizations including universities, companies and scientific research institutes, across 84 first-level disciplines under 10 academic categories specified by the Ministry of Education of China. Among them, Professor WANG Yanxue from the School of Mechanical-Electronic and Vehicle Engineering of BUCEA is listed.

Based on the Chinese researchers’ scientific research results included in Scopus, a global abstract and citation database, Elsevier adopted the selection method developed by ShanghaiRanking (ShanghaiRanking Consultancy) and released the 2021 List of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers where 4,701 Chinese researchers with the most significant global influence on their respective disciplines were named, an increase of 678 people year on year; and the number of listed organizations is 523, seeing a 150 increase from that on the 2020 List.

WANG Yanxue, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, Humboldt Research Fellowship scholar, executive deputy dean of the School of Mechanical-Electronic and Vehicle Engineering of BUCEA, has published over 60 SCI and EI papers in major domestic and global academic journals, with the aforementioned SCI papers being cited for over 2,000 times (Google), and two highly cited ESI papers. He has been granted ten national invention patents and six utility model patents. Besides, he is now serving as a peer review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, director of the Fault Diagnosis Branch of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, director of the Rotor Dynamics Branch of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, as well as a reviewer for many international journals.
