On August 17, the First “Entrepreneurship Elite” Maker Summer Camp 2023 of Southern Beijing University Alliance kicked off at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA). CHEN Hongbing, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of BUCEA, along with representatives from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and other universities and enterprises, attended the event.

With the theme of “Building a Strong Manufacturing Nation, Creating a Future with Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, this summer camp was organized by BUCEA, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, and Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, and hosted by the Academic Affairs Department, Engineering Practice and Innovation Center, and National-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base of BUCEA. The camp lasted for five days and consisted of activities such as themed lectures, field visits, training sessions for practical exercises, and presentations and defences.
