On April 26, 2026, the 17th Beijing University Student Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and organized by the China University of Political Science and Law, concluded successfully. The students from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences won Team First Prize and the Best Memorial Award. PENG Sichu, a student from the Department of Law, won First Prize for Best Individual, and Mr. XIN Haiping from the Department of Law won the Outstanding Instructor Award. BUCEA achieved a clean sweep of all categories of awards in this competition, claiming the highest honor of this event once again after many years.

This competition featured teams from 48 universities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region competing against each other, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, and China University of Political Science and Law. It is one of the most influential academic competitions for law majors in the region.
