BUCEA holds 2024 graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremony

On June 25, 2024, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) held its 2024 graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremony at the Comprehensive Gymnasium in its Daxing campus. A total of 2186 undergraduates and 1052 postgraduates successfully completed their studies. The ceremony was attended by university leaders, alumni representatives, faculty representatives, and the graduating class of 2024. Vice President CHEN Hongbing presided over the ceremony.

ZHANG Dayu, President of BUCEA shared three hopes for the graduates: Firstly, he encouraged them to “dream with responsibility” and embody the spirit of “serving the country’s greater good”. Secondly, he urged them to “dare to strive and venture forward” with the courage to pioneer. Lastly, he emphasized the importance of “seeking truth and pursuing facts”, maintaining the steadfastness and dedication in their demeanor.
