Under the auspice of the Department of Housing Reform and Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD), Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) successfully hosted the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Think Tank Seminar on July 27. This seminar was attended by CHENG Deli, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Housing Reform and Development in MOHURD, and LI Junqi, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of BUCEA, who also gave his remarks. Besides, over 600 attendees from China’s first batch of 14 institutions during the trial operation of the MOHURD Think Tank Program and from relevant higher education institutions participated in the seminar.

On behalf of BUCEA, LI Junqi expressed appreciation for guidance and support from the Department of Housing Reform and Development in MOHURD as well as congratulations on the successful opening of the seminar.

Researcher ZHANG Xuliang expounded on skills and methodology for think tanks to compile high-quality reports with better submission efficiency and effectiveness.
