XUE Feng, BUCEA alumnus, bestowed “National Outstanding Engineer”

On the morning of January 19th, the National Engineer Awards ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People. XUE Feng, a class-1984 alumnus of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) majoring in architecture, architectural master of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), and Chief Architect of China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd, was bestowed “National Outstanding Engineer”.

Brief introduction of the alumnus

XUE Feng, born in January 1966, is a class-1984 alumnus of BUCEA majoring in architecture. He is the architectural master of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and Chief Architect of China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. He enjoys the special government allowance from the State Council and has been awarded the Silver Medal of Dragon Design Foundation Award. He has long been engaged in research on green building and urban renewal, making significant contributions in areas such as green design and barrier-free design.

His design works have won 7 National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Awards and 42 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels.
