On March 11, an alumni entrepreneur colloquium was jointly held by the CPC Committee and People’s Government of Daxing District, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA), and Beihang University (BUAA). Attendees include heads of relevant institutions and departments of Daxing District, BUCEA, and BUAA, as well as hundreds of alumni entrepreneurs of these two universities. They visited the ZGC Medical Device Park of Daxing District, Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, and BUCEA’s Daxing Campus. Many enterprises also gave on-site promotional introductions in the colloquium.

BUAA and BUCEA alumni entrepreneurs at YuanAngel, Beihang Investment Co., Ltd., Beihang Alumni’s Special Committee on Drones, Zhongguancun E Valley (Beijing) Technology Service Co., Ltd., Segway-Ninebot, Beijing Tenhong Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd., and Bos Winner (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., etc. introduced each enterprise’s core business and industrial layout and presented roadshows in the colloquium.

Attendees also conducted lively discussions on talent training, scientific research, industry-education-research integration, transfer and commercialization of technological achievements, etc.

In the morning, BUAA and BUCEA alumni entrepreneurs joined multiple surveys in succession. A lot of heads of the enterprises came to Daxing District and visited the ZGC Medical Device Park and Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone.

They also came to BUCEA’s Daxing Campus where they visited the Architectural Design and Planning Exhibition, “Models of the Old City of Beijing ” Exhibition, University History Museum, Art Museum, and Large Multi-Functional Shaking Table Matrix Laboratory, and learned about BUCEA’s achievements in culture, history, and arts, as well as major scientific research platforms and outcomes.
