From December 14 to 15, the 2025 China Beijing International Wushu Championships were held in Beijing, guided by the Wushu Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports and the Xicheng District People’s Government.

Nsengimana Marcel (Chinese name LUO Cheng), a Rwandan doctoral student at BUCEA, competed alongside 650 athletes from 39 countries around the world. He won the second prize in the Men’s Taiji (Other Styles) category, showcasing the solid outcomes of BUCEA’s international education and its efforts in promoting traditional Chinese martial arts and cultural heritage.
