BUCEA wins Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations at International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

On March 15, at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, a project titled “ Multi-Objective Collaborative Enhancement Technology for Seismic Resilience of Medical Buildings ” led by Professors XIE Linlin and LI Aiqun from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA), received the highest Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations. The project stood out among more than 1,000 inventions from 35 countries and regions worldwide, marking BUCEA's first participation in the exhibition, achieving a historic breakthrough.

This year, inventions presented by the Chinese delegation mainly focused on environmental protection, renewable energy, electronics, medicine, architecture, and transportation.

Founded in 1973, the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva is jointly organized by authoritative institutions including the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Swiss Federal Government. It is one of the world's longest-running and largest invention exhibitions and is recognized as the leading event among the “Top Three Invention Exhibitions” globally. The Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations is selected from among gold medal winners and requires unanimous approval from the jury, making it the highest distinction of the exhibition.
