On December 25, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. (CCTC), marking the beginning of a new phase of partnership. The ceremony was attended by ZHENG Yu, Chairman of the University Council, Vice President CHEN Zhaohui and Vice President LI Junqi of BUCEA, along with CCTC Party Secretary and Chairman SUN Ying, Vice President LIN Qing and Vice President ZHANG Yang.

ZHENG Yu expressed gratitude to CCTC for their warm reception and support for BUCEA’s growth. He said that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement is a vivid example of how the education sector and industries can work together to drive industry transformation, serve national strategies, and contribute to the development of the capital city Beijing in the new era. He stressed that BUCEA and CCTC are highly connected in their fields of expertise and share similar development philosophy. He looked forward to joint efforts from both sides in interdisciplinary research, frontier science, high-end platform construction, large-scale projects, commercialization and application of research outcomes, and talent development.

SUN Ying welcomed ZHENG Yu and his delegation, expressing her gratitude for BUCEA’s long-standing support. She mentioned that CCTC places great importance on its strategic cooperation with BUCEA. The two sides have a solid foundation and ample opportunities for collaboration. She noted that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement takes the partnership to new heights.

During the meeting, ZHENG Yu presented a BUCEA digital resource card on behalf of the University and received the  Green   Construction   Technology Guidelines  book series.

CHEN Zhaohui and ZHANG Yang signed the agreement on behalf of the University and CCTC, with ZHENG Yu, SUN Ying, LI Junqi, and LIN Qing witnessing the ceremony.
