UNIDO ITPO Beijing Visits BUCEA

On the morning of January 3, WU Yabin, Head of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office, Beijing (UNIDO ITPO Beijing) led a delegation of three to visit BUCEA. The two parties engaged in profound discussions on promoting talent development for international organizations, international industry-university-research collaboration, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Vice President CHEN Zhaohui and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

CHEN Zhaohui gave a detailed overview of BUCEA’s history and its notable results in technological innovation and international cooperation. She emphasized that BUCEA would leverage its strengths in various fields and make full use of UNIDO’s platform and resources to deepen practical cooperation in areas like the orange economy. BUCEA aims to take an active part in the UN’s sustainable development agenda and global industrial development, contributing to the achievement of the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and promoting inclusive and sustainable industrial development.

WU Yabin shared about UNIDO ITPO Beijing’s cooperation with local governments, enterprises, and universities. He mentioned that UNIDO is the UN’s specialized agency for promoting inclusive and sustainable industrial development. He expressed the organization’s strong interest in collaborating with university experts, researchers, and young talents in particular, and hoped to maintain close ties with BUCEA.

WU Yabin and his delegation visited the library and the university’s history museum at Daxing campus.
