On April 23，the 2024 BUCEA “Empowering Youth for a Better Future” University Science and Technology Festival, along with the University Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Exhibition, kicked off at the Student Activity Center in the Daxing campus.
The opening ceremony was attended by special guests including SONG Zhaokang, Secretary of Youth League Committee of China Academy of Building Research.
President ZHANG Dayu expressed gratitude to companies supporting BUCEA’s innovative endeavors, offered congratulations to the recognized groups and individuals, and paid tribute to all dedicated faculty advisors.
Vice President ZHU Jing gave a comprehensive overview of BUCEA’s efforts of promoting university student science and technology innovation, covering its significance, development history, operational system, educational outcomes, and future directions. Vice President YANG Jianwei announced the Decision on Awarding the 2024 BUCEA “Youth Role Model” , recognizing outstanding university student innovators.
