On April 13,

the 2024 BUCEA Open Day,

along with the Joint National College Entrance Examination Enrollment Consultation was successfully held.

As the biggest event of its kind in Beijing,

this event was joined by 114 renowned universities from within and outside Beijing.

A remarkable gathering at BUCEA

The joint consultation event was organized by BUCEA and supported by various media and educational institutions.

On the morning, the event was attended by distinguished leaders including ZHANG Yaotian, Member of the Education Work Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Education Commission; SUN Yunke, Director of the Admissions Office at the Beijing Education Examinations Authority; ZHENG Yu, Secretary of CPC Committee of BUCEA; and ZHANG Dayu, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and President of BUCEA.

Looking Forward to a Promising Future

During the event, BUCEA held a press conference to introduce the overall arrangement and highlights of the event, as well as unveiling new admissions policies for 2024.

Various University Booths for Student Recruitment

This joint consultation event brought together 55 universities within Beijing and 59 outside of Beijing, marking a record number of participating universities. These included prestigious universities from over 20 provinces in mainland China along with universities from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, such as the University of Macau and Macau University of Science and Technology.

During the open day event, our campus facilities such as the library, history museum, sports arena, teaching buildings of different colleges, laboratories were open to students and parents, alongside activities like community service exhibitions, subject-specific roadshows, displays of excellent graduates and alumni, extracurricular activity showcases, and learning space exhibitions.

Career Match, Job Security

In recent years, BUCEA has consistently stood out among Beijing municipal universities regarding employment rates for students after graduation from the university. Graduates have found jobs closely aligned with their majors, showcasing significant success in their career development. Regarding undergraduate admissions, over the past three years, the undergraduate admission rate has steadily increased, with nearly one-third of the Class of 2023 undergraduates pursuing further studies, among which 81.5% have been admitted to “Double First-Class” universities.

The open day event attracted nearly 12,000 students and parents from Beijing and surrounding areas to visit the BUCEA campus.
