From July 4th to 6th, YANG Jianwei, member of the BUCEA Committee and vice president of BUCEA, led a delegation to the 1st China Graduate Education Congress and the China Yangtze River Forum on Graduate Education.
The opening ceremony was attended by WENG Tiehui, Vice Minister of of the Ministry of Education of P. R. China. YANG Wei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, delivered remarks during the conference. More than 100 academicians, university presidents and CPC committee secretaries attended the congress.
The congress consisted of a plenary session and 18 parallel sessions, with an exhibition area of over 6,000 square meters, featuring the participation of nearly 150 key institutions in graduate education.
