On Oct. 20th, Beijing Engineering Technology Research Centre for Efficient and Comprehensive Use of Energy in Construction, Beijing Engineering Research Centre for Urban Infrastructure and Green and Low-carbon Construction Technology, and School of Environment and Energy Engineering of BUCEA held the 2021 annual academic conference and Beijing carbon neutralization themed forum of national mass entrepreneurship and innovation week in Jianben lecture hall of BUCEA.

The conference focused on the theme of “efficient use of energy”, and discussed together how the research centre should cope with the new opportunities and challenges in future development under the background of the national strategy of “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization”. The conference also provided a floor for discussion regarding the implementation and strategic deployment of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, and the joint promotion of efficient and comprehensive use of energy.

In research discussion and communication session, experts and scholars actively exchanged ideas and provided advice on carbon neutralization and the efficient use of energy in close relation with the conference theme.
