On October 20, ZHANG Qihong, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Beijing Electronic Science and Technology Institute (BESTI), and YAO Guangye, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of BESTI, together with a delegation, visited BUCEA to enhance cross-campus collaboration. The two sides signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. BUCEA leadership, including JIANG Zeting, ZHANG Dayu, LI Weiping and LI Junqi and other colleagues from relevant functional departments and schools; leaders of BESTI, including WANG Wei, HU Qingping, XIN Xiulan, ZHU Yunli and ZHANG Xiaogang and other colleagues from relevant functional departments and schools attended the seminar.

The two sides not only looked back at their collective past achievements, but also looked forward on future collaboration. A cooperation agreement was signed to promote in-depth cooperation in 10 areas, including teaching management, leadership exchange, education and teaching, talent training, vocational education, student exchange, scientific research and social services, campus building, experimental and practical training resources, and IT construction.

Before the seminar, ZHANG Qihong, YAO Guangye and other members visited the library, BUCEA history museum, the political training base of community-level CPC Party organizations, the multifunctional shaking table matrix laboratory, the pandemic containment center, teacher and student services platform for handling a complaint upon receipt, the School of Geomatics & Urban Spatial Informatics, the School of Electrical and Information Engineering and the School of Environment and Energy Engineering. All delegates learned more about the history of BUCEA, the scientific research platforms, the achievements in science and technology services, the laboratories, and the campus cultural activities.
