Seminar on Urban Drainage and Flood Risk Management in Response to Climate Change held at BUCEA

On the afternoon of November 2, the Seminar on Urban Drainage and Flood Risk Management in Response to Climate Change was successfully held at BUCEA. The event received support from various organizations including Arup Engineering Consultancy from the United Kingdom and the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation.

ZHANG Dayu, President of BUCEA, attended the conference and delivered a speech. During his speech, he introduced the research achievements of BUCEA in relevant fields, urged the participants to contribute their wisdom and strength to addressing climate change and urban sustainable development, and expressed his expectations for future cooperation and exchanges.

During the seminar, keynote speeches and reports were delivered by seven representatives from various authorities. The speakers included LI Junqi, Vice President of BUCEA, Mark FLETCHER, Fellow, Director, and Head of Global Water Business of Arup, and WANG Ji, Director-General of Beijing Climate Center.
