The work completed by BUCEA’s postgraduate team (class of 2022) majoring in architecture won the second prize in the UIA (International Union of Architects) Student Competition of the 28th UIA World Congress of Architects under the guidance of OUYANG Wen and HUANG Tingwan from BUCEA’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning. This award is the third one BUCEA has received after 1996 and 2020.
Known as the Olympiad for architectural students of the world, UIA Student Competition is the most high-end competition for students in architecture. The 28th UIA World Congress of Architects, dedicated to the theme of “Sustainable Futures - Leave no one behind”, will be held in July 2023 in Copenhagen, and the theme of this competition is “UIA Year of Design for Health International Student Competition”.
